ARX Duo
Arx duo are passionate about educating young artists and have presented concerts and masterclasses at multiple universities, holding faculty positions at the Young Artist Summer Program at Curtis Summerfest.
Mari Yoshinaga and Garrett Arney make up arx duo, percussionists dedicated to the creation and presentation of new works for their instruments. They have premiered and commissioned an extensive collection of work, working regularly with notable composers to expand the repertoire and bring new creations to audiences.
Highlights have included premiering Dominic Murcott’s Harmonic Canon at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, and Garth Neustadter’s Seaborne earlier in 2019.
