CoMA Manchester are hosting an evening of pieces by five Manchester-based artists, meshing children's games with those created by a computer, and robots with reality.
Associate Composers Atefeh Einali and Simon Knighton are part of this line up. Their new works – commissioned as part of Nonclassical’s Associate Composers Scheme – will feature alongside a world premiere from Mark Dyer and an interpretation of artist Lorna Green’s new video Big Stones. Finishing the concert will be a performance of i’m not a robot from Nina Whiteman.
In partnership with Contemporary Music for All.
NONCLASSICAL IS GRATEFUL FOR GENEROUS SUPPORT FROM THE ASSOCIATE COMPOSER COMMISSION FUND DONORS, ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND, PRS FOR MUSIC FOUNDATION, DCMS CULTURE RECOVERY FUND AND THE SAMUEL GARDNER MEMORIAL TRUST.
