Nonclassical’s first ever UK tour explores the art of remix. Featuring bold voices from the worlds of contemporary classical music and turntablism including composer and producer Gabriel Prokofiev and DMC World champion 2014 DJ, Mr Switch presenting works that test the boundaries of classical music.

RNCM cellist Oliver Farrant performs Cello Multitracks and live remixes alongside Gabriel Prokofiev. Ground breaking recorder ensemble Consortium5 present live remixes from their critically acclaimed album Tangled Pipes and a winning piece from Nonclassical's Remix competition, and Mr Switch presents a three Turntable version of G Prokofiev’s Concerto for Turntables, first heard at the BBC Proms in 2011.

The night also includes Nonclassical DJs including  RNCM student Michael Brailey (in Manchester only) Nwando Ebizie,  and Gabriel Prokofiev playing sets ranging from electronica and avant garde, to beats, blips and strings.
