We are delighted to welcome three new trustees to Nonclassical’s board of trustees: Aileen Douthwaite, Clifton Harrison and Rune Bech – read more about them below.
Aileen Douthwaite
Aileen has worked across the UK in a variety of education posts including latterly as CEO for a Music Education Hub. Now an independent arts consultant, she is looking forward to supporting Nonclassical and its Executive Team as a trustee.
Clifton Harrison
Viola and viola d’amore player Clifton Harrison has forged a performing and recording career spanning a huge range of genres and embracing the creative potential of in-depth research. He studied at the Juilliard School and Royal Academy of Music and is the viola player in the acclaimed Kreutzer Quartet. He maintains an active freelance career working with orchestras, contemporary music groups, and early music ensembles.
Rune Bech
Rune Bech is a Danish journalist and founder living between London and Copenhagen, where he is the driving force behind Jazzhus Montmartre. He’s also writing about the arts for the Danish weekly newspaper Weekendavisen, and the perming arts magazine Iscene. As a day job he founded the independent health information company NetDoctor.co.uk in 1998, and later in 2015 LivaHealth.com helping the NHS fight diabetes via an app.
